Procurement Department Receives “Best Practices” Award From the School District of Philadelphia for Implementing Freerain’s Bid Information Management Solution (BIMS)

Chicago, December 8, 2005 – The School District of Philadelphia announced today that it has awarded its inaugural “Best Practices Celebration” award to the District’s Office of Procurement Services for its work implementing the Bid Information Management Solution (BIMS).

The best practices recognized today are models for academic success," said Paul Vallas, CEO of the School District of Philadelphia in a statement released by the District.
