Information Collection
Freerain Systems collects information from you at various points on our Web site.
Besides information contained in standard log files (see below), we generally
collect information that you decide to give us. For example, we record the results
of the ROI Calculator and any personally identifiable information you choose to
give us; we record your answers to our Survey and any personally identifiable
information you choose to give us; and we record your request for us to contact
you.
Information Use
While Freerain Systems is the sole owner of the information gathered on our Web
site, we understand you value your privacy and we promise to take commercially
reasonable steps to ensure that none of the information you provide will be used
in any form other than as stated in this Privacy Policy. ROI Calculator and Survey
information will be used in aggregate form, for internal analysis purposes. The
aggregate results from the ROI Calculator and Survey may be used externally for
marketing and informational purposes.
Under no circumstances will any personally identifiable information be sold
or in any other way provided to any person or business outside of Freerain Systems,
Inc., with the few exceptions listed in this Privacy Policy – see Business
Transactions below.
We may, from time to time, send you a communication based on the information
you provide us to, for example, ensure that you are satisfied with our products
or services, learn about ideas you may have for improvements, advise you of additional
offerings or services provided by us, and communicate other information that we
believe will be useful. You may “opt-out” of that communication by

Log Files
Like most standard Web sites, the servers we use generate log files. The information
they contain includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet
service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp,
and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’
movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate
use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing; Legal Disclaimer
Though we make commercially reasonable efforts to preserve user privacy, we may
need to disclose personal information in compliance with applicable laws and lawful
government requests, or when we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary
to operate our business properly or to protect us and our customers.
Security
This Web site takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect our users’
information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information
is protected both online and off-line.
Notification of Changes
If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our homepage
and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information
we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
In some cases where we post a notice we will also email those users who have opted
to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our Privacy
